How we source our ingredients

it all starts with great ingredients. quality is at the core of everything we do — from soft serve to pints to novelties. since day one, we’ve partnered with rosehill dairy, a local utah farm that supplies us with the freshest dairy. this is what makes our soft serve extra creamy and our pints perfectly scoopable. for our plant based options, we use oatmilk, real fruit, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients that taste as good as the real stuff — no fillers, no weird stuff.

every cone, pint, and novelty is made with intention. because if it’s going to be normal®, it has to be better than expected.

dairy

rosehill dairy, a family-owned farm nestled in hyrum, utah. milking cows since 1972, they began bottling and delivering their own milk in 1989, ensuring freshness from farm to doorstep. their milk is free from artificial hormones and antibiotics, and comes from holstein cows raised on a nutritious diet of hay, grass, and grain. we use their milk to craft our soft serve, pints, and novelties - because quality ingredients make all the difference.

fruits

we use fruit because real fruit tastes good — and we don’t mess with it. all of our fruit comes in as fruit purées, which means it’s 100% fruit, picked at peak ripeness, and packed without preservatives or added sugar. from juicy mango to tart raspberry, these purées deliver full-on flavor and natural color, no tweaking needed. they’re the secret behind our bold plant-based sorbets and the reason our fruit flavored ice creams hit just right.

chocolate

we use the best chocolate we can get our hands on — from deep, rich cocoa to roasted white chocolate and valrhona’s inspiration line, which blends real fruit and nuts into silky, dairy-free couvertures. they’re bold, colorful, and full of flavor without any artificial extras.

sprinkles

we take sprinkles seriously. each batch is made from scratch in our kitchen — hand-piped, air-dried, and cut with care. we make both rainbow and chocolate versions, and they’re crunchy, colorful, and totally classic (without the waxy texture of the store-bought kind). they top our soft serve, sneak into cakes and treats, and always bring the fun. playful, nostalgic, and fully house-made — because why wouldn’t we?

salt!

normal® loves salt. not just because it tastes good (which it does), but because it makes everything else taste better too. a pinch of salt enhances sweetness, sharpens flavors, and brings out the richness in our dairy and chocolate. we use it with intention — never too much, always just right — to make sure every bite is balanced and craveable, not cloying. think of it as our not-so-secret ingredient.

coffee

we can’t resist an affogato. that’s why we use couplet coffee — a roaster from los angeles that makes specialty coffee fun and inclusive. their beans are sourced from small farms and roasted to perfection, adding a deep, smooth kick to our coffee-based treats.
